April Lockhart

April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 When she was in the seventh grade, she started playing the guitar as well as taking piano lessons which ignited her interest in music writing. April's first song was Different which she composed when she was 12 years old. When she was 14 April was devoted for a long period of time to making song lyrics and working on her musical skills. After a while, she began to travel with her dad as well as write her songs either in NY and LA. April began to include various other topics relevant to the"Take my Hand song for some close friends, like peer pressure problems and suicides among teenagers. Lockhart is a lifestyle and beauty influencer with a growing fan base. She collaborates with the renowned brand Ilia in partnership, as well as being an expert in the field of lifestyle. It's true that she was born with no left hand, and it creates her unique. It's not the only thing about her. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on her Instagram account, but she isn't making it the focal point of the post. What's the message? It's crucial to understand that everyone has multiple faces. Our identities are diverse and we're much greater than the bodies we wear. Lockhart states in the video Lockhart in a video interview "I do not believe that disability should define my character. I don't intend to influence disabilities because I've got plenty to offer." The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my daily life. All is well and I have learned to adjust. However, I also consider it to be a vital part of myself. Self-acceptance can be a marathon for a lifetime but Lockhart truly inspires me in this regard. She admits that she has gone through phases of being uncomfortable with her body, and also feeling uneasy wearing certain clothing styles which showed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and proudly posts pictures of herself wearing the clothes she chooses on social platforms. The journey itself is the most important thing. I'm not certain that it will be an end of self-love. This is, however, common for anyone with doubts. I think that having people with you who know you and see your heart is really important as they'll be the ones that remind you of what are you worried about?
